Last Year the River Great Ouse was voted the Nation’s 4th ‘Best Loved River’. On Spring Bank Holiday weekend, England’s oldest inland marina, Jones Boatyard at St.Ives, will welcome boaters and non-boaters alike to the 2011 ‘Jones Boatyard River Gala’. The weekend will offer visitors the chance to sample many different ways of enjoying this beautiful river.

• Canoe and Kayak ‘Free Open Day’– All day Saturday

• Weekend Offers – A month’s free mooring with all boats sold and an additional 10% off everything in the Chandlery

Representatives from Shetland Boats will be on hand to show the 2011 range with the opportunity for ‘on the water’ demonstrations (strictly by appointment).
