13:28 Sat 29th Oct 2011

Hi Anglaisandy here.
My shetland 570 is waterlogged, I have tried to
drain it but no luck.I am thinking of cutting the floor out to remove
the foam is this advisable.
Please help!
Cheers A. Thain

Hello Andy, is your 570 a float? As I have pump just inside of the transom but does need the boat to be on the trailer for total drain.

Richard.

I have bought a new windscreen for my 535 expecting fixings to come with it and possibly some guide as to fitting it. My problem is how and with what is it fixed, advice would be appreciated.
Cheers Jim.

Hello Jim

we can send some fittings out to you.

as for fitting, best is to line the new windscreen up and drill it against the old screw holes on the boat.
Thanks

Andy, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I did not cut a hole in the floor as mine has a raised floor and just sits at the back next to the transom lowest point. Some holes in the section allow the water to drain back to this point. Hope this helps and can send photo's if would help? Richard.
