Full boat cover ventilation

I have a Shetland Family 4 (2006) and have a full cover made by Shetland for winter storage. I am being told by other boat owners that as it is a tight fit it requires ventilation to avoid condensation and mildew. Does anyone have any experience of this problem.

I have a full cover for my Family 4 (2006) made by Shetland. I am being told by other boat owners that the cover needs ventilation to avoid condensation and mildew, particularly as it is a tight fit. Has anyone any experience of this, if so, any ideas for solution.

570 with a mercruiser outdrive

Have just bought the boat and very pleased with its condition however
am looking for any pointers on the mercruiser drive -its a 120 petrol
Any tips regarding spares or things to watch out for with outdrives .
Am thinking of adding an auxiliary outboard as a back up anyway !!
